Which do you prefer and why? Try to give details based on fact, don't say that Mac sucks because they only have one mouse button, because I myself have a three button mouse. Also lets not start a flame war over which is better, because we know Mac users won't change PC users' minds and PC users won't change Mac users' minds.

I prefer Mac computers. I've never had mine crash in the year and a half I've had it. I also love how everything seems to work together to get your project done, when I had a PC it seemed each program wanted to do it all and hated all the other programs I used. I also love how I can move a file and every program will still locate it, even if I move a mp3 I don't have to re-add it to my playlist because it is automatically updated.

Heh, I quite like Macs. But I like to build my own systems from scratch and I like having a greater choice of software/hardware. PCs are also cheaper and generally faster. I like the way that Macs are so integrated.
My girlfriend wants a Mac though, she is a sub editor for a magazine and she has a Mac at work. I guess for things like DTP and media type work, I would prefer a Mac too.

I use and enjoy both, personally if you've ever ran a personal network with dual platforms (2k or xp and OSX) you'll never want to go back. THAT is true choice.

    tgpo,

Your email address suggests you do prefer Mac.

I haven't met even in the 1980s and 1990s who preferred PC to Mac. Wasn't it primarily a matter of cost for most consumers?

There have been $300 PCs but no such Mac.
