After capturing video from my DV Cam, I cut and convert them to Xvid files, about 8MB per files using AutoGK, so I could e-mail them.
What would you recommend is the best codec/software to get best quality to size ratio?
Also, how heavy would you say a decent qualitty file should be per 1MIN of Video?

    Thanks.

    For playback on what?
There are too many factors to take into consideration for a short straight answer, but to mail video to someone on a Windows system, I'd use low res, low bitrate WMV - I think there's some preset in Windows Movie Maker for this.
