I am thinking of buying a GeForce4 MX420 PCI video card. It has a TV-Out feature. My question is what kind of quality can I expect? When I burn a VCD and play it on my stand alone DVD Player and 32" TV, the quality is pretty good. How is the quality if I take adavntage of a TV-OUT and play files from my computer directly through the TV-out connection ad view it through my 32" TV?

If you are only going to watch vcds through the tvout it wont be that big different, tvout can often be a bit worse with vcd, svcd and dvd compared to good standalone dvd player. But if you are converting avi, divx or other none mpeg formats to vcd you can skip that part and directly watch it on the tv without and conversion and then it will look better(if the source is good).
Use www.tvtool.de to get fullscreen tvout on nvidia cards.
