hi, i was wondering what would be the expected ripping speed of a 16X DVD drive. currently using DVD2SVCD i get about 3600-3900 KB/sec or so during the ripping process. the number slowly rises the longer i rip, but that's about the figure i get for ripping a movie. just wondering if this was normal or too slow. reason being, i just found out that certain settings on Windows XP may hinder the original speed of a drive. wanna make sure that i have optimum performance.
