    has anyone got a slide show VCD by Nero to play?

    I haven't.

    I have APEX 660 Firmware Revision 660-8MM.


    It refuses to play things in the "segement" unless I doing something wrong.

    I have the Apex 660, and the slide show by Nero 5.0 works fine. Simply drag all the 704x480 jpg's into the main folder in Nero (selecting VCD template) and set the delay for each image (you can highlight them all and set the delay the same for all the images). I have made several VCD slideshow CD's, worked every time.
