After you render your video using Tmpgenc, it is ready to be burn to VCD using Nero. Why did you use DVD workshop to author again? I am suspecting that DVD workshop may be the cause of your problem when it re-render your mpg file.

First of all, are you trying to make a DVD or VCD? As far as I know, Nero doesn't let you burn DVD. I don't know what brand of DVD player you have, but most DVD player should be able to play VCD's.

If you are making VCD, after you render your movie with Tmpgenc, it should already be in a mpg format which you can burn as a VCD using Nero (if you use the VCD template that came with Tmpgenc).

If you insist on making DVD, you can use the DVD template that came with the latest version of Tmpgenc to render, but you should use a DVD burning software to burn it to DVD. You shouldn't have to re-render using DVD workshop.

  7. I have the same problem, I've encoded a movie with TMPg and the file plays fine on the pc and no sync problems. Once I've created my DVD menu's etc... and used DVD workshop to write the dvd, on playback i have a sync problem. any ideas anybody

  8. I too had problems with sync. What I had to do was make sure that all captured video was on a seperate HD and not on the OS HD. No problems with sync after that.

I use Pinnacle Studio 7 to capture and make AVI files. Then use TMPGenc
to convert to PAL DVD. I've also done VCD with no sync problems.

  9. All Sorted For Me Now, DVD workshop v1.0 has a problem with most PC encoders. There fine before you drop them in to DVD Workshop(No Sync Problem) but after the Workshop has written the DVD you get Audio Sync problem.

THERE IS A PATCH AT ULEAD'S SITE, INSTALLED IT AND I'M FINE NOW NO SYNC PROBLEMS ANYMORE
