Hi,
I can't seem to be able to change my image Format to YUY2 or 24 bit RGB or anything other than UYVY in virtual dub. I want to get better quality and i assume that my inability to change image format is my problem. I have gone to Set custom video format and i can select different screen sizes but any other data format (other than UYVY-YUV 4:2:2 interleaved) i select gives me an error:unsupported video format. I am runnning a p-4 2.0ghz system with windows XP and i use a geforce 3 Ti200 pro card to capture.
Really appreciate any and all help.

Frame serve your video OR change the codec you
are saving in. Check in the guides for the various ways on how to do it
under Capture (for codecs) or Framserving (for color conversion)
Check out avisynth -> it is the fastest way of doing this sort of thing.
