Hate music but everything he writes is from the heart.

He dosen't go making up lyrics and pulling them just from fresh air like most of the other rap artists.

The man is a lyrical genius.

I'm not a big fan of rap anymore, but I still enjoy listening to Eminem. He doesn't write about the stuff that most other rappers write about - girls, money, cars, drugs, shooting people. Okay, maybe he does, but not in the way that other rappers do. I enjoy his stuff because I can relate to a lot of it. He speaks from his thoughts and heart, and says things that people think, but are afraid to admit.

His stuff is like a perpetual machine, though. His writing is fueled by controversy, and with every album, there's more controversy that surrounds it.

From the heart my ass. Eminem knows exaclty what buttons to push to get the public up in arms. He uses his "controversy" to sell records. I still like his music though. Ever noticed how eminem always has one song to cater to the TRL base (The Real Slim Shady, My Name Is, Without Me) The only reason he writes these it to get national air time on MTV. MTV would probably not play a music video for sime of his songs .
