I have Adobe Premier and I’m having a hard time getting DVD authoring programs to accept the AVI files I exporteded in Adobe. If anyone uses Premier 6.0 and has gotten it work well. Please email me with you comments and suggestions. It’s very frustrating. What authoring program does work well?

Make sure that your compression is UNCOMPRESSED. No indeo, no windows dv, nothing. Plain uncompressed stream. Then bring that stream into Vdub to fix any problems.

I was using MS DV compression so what was one of my problems. Do I output as a QuickTime movie? I don’t see any other options as “no compression” I was also trying to use the plug “LSX Mpeg”. But when I render it out to mpeg2 with that I have this horizontal fringe. I tried changing the upper and lower field render and that helped a little. But is still looks bad. What are the setting that might help this out?
Thanks,

Ok, I exported the time line with MS AVI no compressions with files that were originally captured with DV compression. When I rendered it out then played it back the video was choppy and I still couldn’t import files in to Spruceup. Help
