  1. I am having big problems. Everytime I try to start TmpEng it gives me problems. Usually, the computer ends up rebooting everytime I click start or preview.

Or I get some errors like "Illegal floating decimal point calculation order" or " Read error occured at address ###### of module 'TMPEnc.exe' with #######"

Has anyone else had this problem?

That is not a normal problem... I don't know much about it but as far as I know, it's not TMPGEnc... I think some Windows files are missing or corrupt. My friend had similar problems and TMPGEnc didn't work correctly until he did a clean install of Windows 98SE on his system.

But that was his case, dont fully trust me on this. Your case might be different.

  4. I found the solution. It has to do with drivers. It mostly is videocard or something related like that. In my case, it was the AGP driver for my motherboard. After I updated that, I have had no problems at all.
