  2. cap as in the amount of data you can send/recieve total? or the transfer rate you can send/recieve?

because if it is the latter, consider yourself lucky to have even had it for the while you did.

Yeah , I heard something about that. Apparently they are gonna charge you large if you exceed a monthly limit. I remember hearing that the reason why they are introducing this is because a very small percentage of users, use like 30% of the total bandwidth. I am not totally sure of the figures though...

It could just be shiZZZon, he is with Bellsouth; I think he said he has like 40,000 mp3s, 60,000 appz and 35,000 moviez for download at his site... but then again, he did tend to "exagerate" a lot.

  8. I'm sorry peeps, it is prob me who is takin the bandwidth

No, lol, i dont have that much stuff, lol

But i did dl the maximum adsl can handle for 24hrs at a time but that was just for 1 day- 12.5 gb

Every day i dl on average of 4-6 gb.

But do not worry, I am canceling bellsouth just by luck cuz of this cap even though i never heard about that.

I'm goin to cable. Just cuz its cheaper and everyone in my neighborhood isnt into downloading, they just into listening and watching what I got.

Peeps, u should get cable. Here, its $29.99 and my friend ahs it- 450kb\sec max he has ever got.

Good enough for me, his average- 250-350 . Better than my dsl.

I do think for bells sake that capping is a good idea. It's just another way to prevent piracy. Cuz if u go way over the limit, you just payin for what u download.

So, i say again, for the ISPs sake, it's a good idea.
