new to capturing

i just got a ati-tv wonder ve capture card yesterday and i tried it out today by capturing from a vhs onto my hard drive. i'm pretty sure i got it on the computer ok, i just need to know how to convert what i have to be able to burn it to (s)vcd. i ended up having mp2 files, and i'm just not sure where to go from here. any help would be great.

The file what you have is mpeg2 and is SVCD format then you can burn it into CD by using Video CD burner software. If it is not SVCD format then try to render it to SVCD format and which type you want NTSC or PAL. Then burn the converted file into CD by using Video CD burner software.
