trouble with burning

and just askin i have a problem with my burner
it starts to burn then stop mid way
i use phillips cdd 4801 cd-r/rw
can anyone help me out

you'll need to give more information for anybody to be able to help you
what burning software are you using?
what error message are you getting?
I would make sure that you've got the latest firmaware for your drive installed, and then make sure you're running the latest version of whatever burning software you're using.
