I have a Sony TRV-140 digital8 camcorder. When I capture a video via firewire, the field order seems to be reversed.
When using TMPGEnc, I have to select field order B to encode mpeg2 which is no problem.
The problem is when using an encoding program where the field order can't be changed, it always comes out wrong.
Since almost everyone on this board uses TMPGEnc, which field order do you use for your DV capture avi's.
I suspect not all digital camcorders output the same field order in thier respective video formats.
If you could tell me your;
1. Make & Model camcorder
2. Video format NTSC or PAL
3. Field order A or B (TMPGEnc only)
If you have any suggestions or comments I would like to here them.
Chas
