anyone got the PV233 mpeg1 encoder to work with application other than it's own capture program?
or anyone know of WDM drivers for it?
good card just piss me off that it can't work with other 3rd party appz

I have requested that PV make some WDM drivers for it but nothing so far. -
not just te PV233.
why so many mpeg1/2 encoders have no WDM drivers? and only their application works

I'd be happy if Provideo would just release the source to the app so people could build on it.
I suspect there's no WDM support for it because unlike most capture cards, the board isn't providing raw video data to the driver, which is then passed to the codec. The chip on the card is doing the mpeg encoding, and provides an mpeg stream instead.
