  1. Everytime when I try to rip a DVD via DVD Ectractor after the half of the process the ripping stops with a message like "A Disk/Media/Driver related error occured".

    Whats wrong??????
Im using DVD extractor in OS9 (not Classic) and I tried all my other DVDs ... same problem. Also at another Mac with DVD Drive ..... same Problem!

    Thanx for replies!

Try using YADE instead to rip the DVD.

My G3 iMac just has your basic CD-ROM drive with an external DVD burner. I suspect that sometimes both DVDExtractor and YADE do not properly unlock the drive (perhaps?) or get the correct key off the DVD.

I usually get similar errors when I switch DVDs while still in OS 9. If I start in OS X and open the DVD in DVD Player first, then boot to 9, everything rips fine, in both YADE and DVDExtractor. This is just my guess of whats going on with my computer ... I can't be 100% sure.
