I was today looking at a DVD player and was wondering if someone could tell me if it is worth getting. I wish to make SVCD movies so I need a player which is capable of doing so.

The Brand for the DVD I was looking at is a "STANDARD"
Model No "DVD 8035"

Under Specs it lists it can play
DVD/VCD/CDR-w/CD/MP3

Does anyone out there think this would be good for someone creating SVCD's with DVDx and burning with Nero 5.5.8.2 with SVCD Plugin and also with MP3 Encoder plugin.

Also would I be better using only CDr-W or could I use CDR it says nothing about dual laser. But as seem as you cant get MP3 cd's I thought it may run CDR's

Any help would be good
