Try WinMX at http://www.winmx.com. It is the best one out there IMO. I have dl tons of movies and music. Check out http://www.zeropaid.com for tons of info on P2P and read the different WinMX forums on how to get tons of Open Nap servers loaded.

Ah so I see that making them yourself is no longer of any real interest.... ( just a joke ) I would have to say Mirc is one of the better ways to get whatever it is you are looking for, it's a little hard to learn and sometimes you run into idiots but if you take your time and don't beg for stuff you should do just fine, but check the web, look for the ones that have the most downloads that is one way to improve your chances at getting stuff that you want..

if i need something particular, kazaa has been nothing but good to me. what i like best is that when you download something, you download from everyone who has that same file, so i always get 125+k/sec

Why besides napster? You can still use napster (older version like 2beta6) on renagade servers with napigator http://www.napigator.com (you just wont be on "napster's" servers) Clicking on the renegade servers is too slow and frustrates everyone, just fight your way onto a server using Alt+F (File) then Alt+C in rapid succession until someone falls off and lets you on. (a few servers have rerty time limits) Takes less than a minute or two and theres still terrabytes out there.
No funny naming, no running the words together - its just like it ever was.
So there you go - you can still enjoy 'ol napster!
hell if I know!
