Hi,
I am using one of my older machines to do the dvd encoding. It is a p3 550mhz with 416mb of ram. I followed doom9's guide very carfully step by step and made sure all the correct options were used. Yet when i encode the dvd it basically moves up 2-3% every hour which takes about 30-40 hours. Now when i am trying to encode it moves 1-2% every hour and i cant wait that long for it to encode. Is there something i am doing wrong or is there way i can speed up the process?
I know that vcdhelp guide says it takes 20 on the average. Would booting in safe-mode or booting with only system files speed up the process?
Please ask an information you need of me.
Thanks to anyone who replies
