  1. I ripped a DVD with SmartRipper, then I used DVD2AVI to put the VOB files into nice little d2v and wav files. The wav file played just fine in winamp, but when I encoded the files to mpg, there was no sound. I demultiplexed the mpg file and the sound file did not work. I tried to adjust the sound options in DVD2AVI, but that did nothing. I tried using an earlier version of TMPGenc, but it would not even load the audio. I really need help asap!

  2. Ok... I feel dumb now! ^_^
I downloaded the newer version of DVD2AVI and it fixed everything!
Plus, if the movie is longer than about 2 and a half hours, then you will need to encode half of it at a time before you merge them. If anyone else has a problem with the audio (as described above) on TMPGenc, then check to see if you have the newest version of DVD2AVI!
    Thanks anyway!
