hi there! i have a avi (divx) and i wanted to frameserve it to tmpgenc...my problem is it cant detect (vdub) what audio codec was used for this file..but in media player it says its mp3...and one thing i notice too that (vdub) in coversion i dont have an mp3...i assume this is the problem..does anyone know where i can get this? or theres any other solution? any help would greatly appreciated..thank you.

Try this:
1) Extract the audio to WAV using VirtualDub (read guides on this site to learn how, but basically it's full processing mode, adjust audio settings, save WAV)
2) On the audio tab specify WAV audio instead of AVI audio, and point it to the WAV you made in step 1.. Now it won't see the MP3, just the WAV.
