I was just thinking about the long tedious hours it actually takes to rip a dvd. I have a program that steps you through the 5 steps, but takes long enough to actually rip the dvd, plus you have to be at your computer to start the next phase. I am not lazy, I just like to get time to use the only pc I have :P So.. When I think of ripping a dvd that will take hours I think of doing it when I am not home so I can use my pc when I am home. 1 problem,. You have to be home to set your pc into the next phase. Like after ripping it you have to get the wav file, and then all those other encoding things (srry if I sound stupid, I am #1newbie)
Soo, inturn I figure maybe someone that knows what they are doing could make a program where you stick the dvd in, and its like a wizard that walks you through, you click on the resolution you want it in and whether you want an svcd or a vcd, and then It will make you a nice little mpeg file ready for burning.
Has this been done before?
Just a thought
Thanks,
