I've been sorting thru all the info on this site, but I haven't gotten to the answer. I'm sure it's here, but where?![]()
I captured an AVI from my DV camcorder. I did no editing. I've tried to use TMPGE to make a VCD and a SVCD. I then used VCDEasy to burn the CD. The outcome is not very good. The VCD has poorer resolution than a recorded VHS of the same and the SVCD looks very blocky thru the middle. It's not just blocky during high action. I think the SVCD problem comes from VCDEasy because the mpg doesn't have that problem when I playback on my pc.
Can someone tell me how to set up TMPGE (I read the CONVERT section, really) to take my AVI from my DV and convert to SVCD? Like do I use Interlaced, or non-interlaced? Maybe someone would also tell me what to do with VCDEasy.
I just want to take my DV (I capture thru a firewire card) and put it on a CD. My whole family has purchased Apex AD1500s and are anxiously awaiting something to watch.![]()
Thanks in advance for any help :P
