    executing Stinky's patch to disable macrovision in ATI MMC. Any other way to disable the macro function in ATI MMC? Thanks.

    You can get one of those customized ATI driver installers that some guys put together. I've seen one where they specifically mention that they don't install the Macrovision with their setup. Search for RADEON TWEAK on the net - that's where I started looking.
