Cannot burn vcd Philips cdrw804

avi to vcd. Have an avi file, then have encoded, then try to burn and get
ERROR: Write data failed.
ERROR: Writing failed.
Using Win2000, Philips pcrw804.
ASPI says it is ok but not sure, but when I try to update flash tool 3.4.0.5
I get ASPI send error

I had that exact model Philips CDRW for a few months last year. It's a piece of sh*t. Get rid of it. I did and I say good bye and good riddance.
