AIW 7500 vs 8500

I am looking to get one of these 2 cards, and I am basing it strictly on VIDEO capturing and editing (this system will NOT be used to play games) Do these 2 cards use the same hardware and have the same features? I currently have the AIW Pro which is very touchy (software) when recording from TV. It also drops frames when I set the sound above 96 on a P3-1 gig.

AIW 7500 uses a 7500 chipset and AIW 8500 uses a 8500 chipset
Here are the major differences:

AIW 7500:
128-bit processing
memory clocks at 260Mhz
350Mhz RAMDAC

AIW 8500:
128-bit processing
mem clocks at 230Mhz
400Mhz RAMDAC

8500 obviously has a faster chipset, but is it worth the big bucks, I don't know... not in my opinion. 7500 radeon chipset is fast enough for full video capturing in real time.
