start->run
regedit
go to HKey local machine/Software/Microsoft/Windows/Current Version
Look for DVD_Region in the left pane (its in alphabetical order)
double click and put in the number for the appropriate region

I'm not sure if its legal to do this or what. I'm sure its not with Micro$oft. Please post success/failure in other versions.
