can't play svcd? using power dvd xp or wmp?

alright I can't seem to play back svcd burnt to a cd with power dvd xp. I know i can't play em from cd with wmp but power dvd should work right? I can play the mepeg 2 if I use iso buster to extract the mpeg-2 with power dvd xp but not when I burn the cd as an svcd. I am using the bin and cue supplied. I have had problems with the centopy version of episode 2 and pdvd version of blade 2 so far. Am I missing a codec? currupt software or bad cue sheets? those are my only guesses let me know please.

I hear you...I am trying to figure this out as well...I dl'd the 3 disks...extracted using VCD GEAR and have 3 mpg files. They play back in Power DVD XP no problem, files #2 and #3 play back OK in Windows Media Player but the first one does not...?

I burned the 1st disk using the original BIN/CUE files to CDR - plays back on my work computer (cdrom+power dvd), my stand alone JVC S500D, but not either one of my 3 drives in my home computer with POWER DVD XP?? Lite-on CDRW, Iomega CDRW, and Pioneer DVD?

I don't get it...my only though is that the video cards are supporting different things - DOES YOUR COMPUTER HAVE A VIDEO CARD THAT SUPPORTS VIDEO OUT TO A TV? LET'S SOLVE THIS...
