  1. As you can see by my username, I am a Transformer collector. I have a lot of the old TV episodes on VHS, but seeing as how VHS deteriorates over time, I decided to start burning them into VCD in order to preserve them better (I'm a cheapie and can't really afford the DVDs though eventually I will probably get them. ). I captured them using iMovie 2 then saved them in full quality using the Sorenson Video codec. I then used Toast Titanium 5.0.2 to convert them into MPEG format, then burned them onto a VCD. Now, the .mpg file that I'm burning from is complete; yet when I burn it to the CD, the last 1-2 minutes are GONE. I'm using 700MB CD-Rs to burn onto, and the file I'm burning is 627MB, I should have enough room on the disc. What's going on? Thanx in advance. It's really wonderful to find a Message Board forum that deals specifically with Mac oriented stuff!

I've never experienced that problem before. If you watch the mpeg before you burn is the whole video there or are the last minutes still cut off?

Transformers is being released in complete season packages on DVD starting ... like in the next few weeks if not right now.

  4. tgpo, Yes I did view the entire movie before I burned it, and it's all there. That's what makes this boggling to me...

AntnyMD, yes, I knew about the TF: Season 1 DVD box set; it's just I can't afford it right now. Thanks, though.
