Hiya
I have several *.vob files on my HD that I would like to make SVCDs with, but the DVD2SVCD only gives me the option of RIP ONLY or RIP AND CONVERT. If I select the 'rip and convert' then my directory with the vob files it copies them again to a new directory!
Does anyone know how to make it convert from the existing vob files? I cannot spare the extra 5-7 GB to recopy the files for conversion with each movie...or even one for that matter.
Thanks in advance to all people with ideas!

I use Gordian Knot which comes with its own copies of Virtualdub, DVD2AVI, Smartripper etc. I use Smartripper, but I can also use the DVD2AVI with previously ripped files on my HD. You can get it, amongst other places, from the download section at www.doom9.net
