Is there a VCD or XVCD logo?

Does anyone know if there are any "official" VCD or XVCD logos? Preferably, a video clip, but a static image would be fine too.

If not, then I could just hack together something on my own. I would like to author some "trailer" video (you know, kinda like the THX thing or something) and if there was some "official" logo, I could incorporate it in.

Hi!

Obviously, this is not "official" but I just had to put together a mini "trailer" for my XVCD videos that I am creating.

You can find the 7 second MPEG clip at: http://jim.barr.net/VCD/.

I created it using MS Word's "Word Art" to create the "VCD" text, PaintShop Pro 7 to create the "X", SWiSH v2.0 to build it all and render the .AVI, and TMPGEnc to render the .MPG file. Right now, it is still very "rough", and I will eventually re-render things in a higher resolution so that they look better. Though I will be using this with my XVCDs, I rendered it per NTSC VCD specs.

You are more than welcome to use it, abuse it, critique it, whatever.

Just giving something back to the community that got me into all this.... Have fun! 8)

I just made a few updates to my XVCD "trailer" found at http://jim.barr.net/VCD to clean it up a bit. Consider this to be version 2 of an ongoing project...

Oh, and I put the SWiSH v2 .swi file there too. (SWiSH, for those that don't know, is a "simpler" version of Flassh. It has a HUGE set of features, is very powerful, and is relativly inexpensive.)

I have a CVD logo that I created by "butchering" a DVD logo. Must post it sometime, however my hard drive died this morning, so will have to buy a new one tomorrow and format/install a shitload (BBC Technical Term) of stuff first.
