I have the latest version installed. 2.54.
But it wont recognize the format...of a .d2v file and wont let me import.
I have the DVD2AVI.vfp and the TMPGEnc.vfp in the folder.
What is wrong?
DO I need the .vob files in the same folder?
Do I need the Plus version of the TMPGENC?
Please help...
Thanks
Kapil

do you use virtualdub by chance? aviproxy mode will interfere with vfapi. to disable run proxyoff.reg in the \aviproxy folder
-
No I do not use virtualdib--and i did run the install.bat script for vfapi...
Does the version of the TMPGenc have anything do with this???
Maybe a version conflict...
One more thing....If I create an avi file instead of the d2v---how do I get the audio and the video to get in sync? -
kktk. I have the same problem as you. it's not the TMP. It's the DVD2AVI if that's what you use for frameserve, check your settings. I've posted the same problem up but nobody was able to help me. But I figured it out by myself.

Ekin--what was the issue...???
I had 2 versions of tmpgenc on my machine in diff folders...
I removed everything, reinstalled DVD2avi and tmpgenc in the same folder...and that worked...Maybe I got lucky?? -
I use CladDvd XPand the files are created but TMPGEnc errors on the d2v file. CladDvd XP incorporates DVD2AVI so I don't understand why TMPGEnc isn't working. My scenerio is somewhat different.
One DVD I was able to use Clad XP and TMPGEnc and it made the MPEG1. The 2nd DVD I ripped I only used CLAD XP - REINSTALLED MY O/S and APPs (including Clad and TMPGEnc) and now it cannot read the D2V file on the 2nd DVD. The VOBs and WAV are on another disc, so reinstalling the apps shouldn't make a difference as they were ripped to another drive before the new install.
Can anyone help?
