  1. As the title says : Has anyone ever managed a hack
or whatever to record DVDR on the Panasonic E20
in 3 hour mode. I mean they give you 1 hour, 2 hour,
4 and 6 hour. What I ( and most others I would think)
need is 3 hours. Is there a hack or whatever to get
    round this.

    Thanks

  2. I have the E20, yes you can sorta kinda set it to do three hour...the norm is 2/4/6, but it has feature that allows your to use only the ammount of recording time of the film or timer you set, example, your movie is 155 min long, when you set up the time your scroll through the settings (2/4/6 hour and you will see a setting they call FR or Variable, it will only record up to 155 min no more no less so it you set it to record 160 you will get 3 hours. this will also give you the best picute quality, I use it to record many 90 min movies and it works great. Check the book on this or when you set up the time watch the screen and you will see the FR setting.
