I'm trying to create MPEG clips of stills with videopack5, but cannot seem to get a good picture quality once I burn it to cd using VCDeasy.
What should my settings be for NTSC VCD's of stills taken with a Canon Powershot S30 at 1600x1200 res.?
Thanks in advance for your help.

The highest still picture resolution you can use in vcd or svcd is 704x480 (704x576 for pal). If your source is higher resolution than this then you should always use 704x480 when creating standard vcds. You can experiement with higher resolutions if you wish but of course they may not play on your standalone dvd player. Also remember that standard 4:3 televisions only display picture at 640x480, so again 704x480 should be more than adequate.

Adam,
What do you use to intergrate MPEG stills with music tracks?
Thanks
