My new R2 copy of this movie exhibits some strange behaviour!! It won't play in my PC or even be recognised by Win2K!

Don't know if this disc features some new encryption system but when placed in either of my PC's DVD drives it simply comes up "not a DVD".
PowerDVD says "unknown disc format in drive D".

Both DVD Decrypter and Smartripper do not recognise the disc at all, with either "no DVD found" or "not a DVD" messages. I have the most up to date aspi layer installed etc, etc, and have never seen this message on any of my R1 or R2 discs.

Anyone know what is different about this disc?

Probably the original disk is damaged or dirty - does it work in a standalone DVD player ?

(PS - agree with Roy - I ripped this yesterday and it's fine)

Thanks for your input , guys. It did play OK on my standalone, but I must admit on closer examination it did indeed have a nasty looking scratch - probably why I got it exchanged today!!

    Try and try again, eh?
