In looking at this site's rating of TV/VCR capture cards, I see the ratings for "Capture Resolution/Format" (the one I'm considering is rated at 352X288).
and for "Max Resolution", which I guess is end quality(?) (at 768x576)
Please explain those terms and it this numbers would produce a reasonably good end product Video CD of my VHS tapes when view on out television.
