Yes, please! A filename of the "good" version would be nice...

Tried grabbing Spider-Man, there's like 150 different filenames, only ONE good one... (saw it in the theater anyway, but...)

The name of the "decent quality" Star Wars Ep. II please... (drum roll)....

  8. if you want a decent well done version of anything, you need to use IRC or FTP access of some top sites or dump sites

IRC may be confusing at first, but once u get the hang of it, it's really easy to use and you can get almost anything you want on there

  9. as i said recently in another post somewhere.. irc is not my main supplier of warez.. i'll check it out every now and then.. but it is by no means my main supplier..

and as for file sharing programs, they pretty much suck the shit from my ass.. if you're looking for movies, per se star wars ii; attack of the clones.. you wont find it.. if you do "find it", it will either be incomplete, transferred slowly, not actually be the movie you want to d/l, or the d/l wont even finish.. i consider it pretty much a waste of time..

i always know what i am getting, i get it when it first comes out, and i can set my computer to to d/l 5 or 6 movies while i'm not out being a cool person like yourself..

Ali G WiKiT, err should I say Shizzzon... where exactly did Jeex say that Ep2 wasn't on irc?

Also I can assure you that not every release makes it to irc the day it is released. In fact, most don't.

You guys that think irc is some small little world, chances are you havent seen half of it, i know i havent. As far as things not showing up on mirc until the next day, doubtfull. I know ive gotten a bunch of things before any mention of it popped up online, vcdquality, isonews. There are multiple servers, and with in each one of those servers there are thousands of rooms, theres no way you could know everything thats going on in there.

If you want to play in the big leagues you have to start off in the minors.

  15. as far as me know, when it hits vcdquality, it hits irc.

Me gots a website that tells me when and where(server\chan) so me can get the movie.

Also, a word out to those you need to know-

Shizzzon has remastered the audio in hafvcd v of swe2.

It plays through both channels and lowered hiss and regained EQ to make it sound better.

The mp2 files can be obtained for EPO.

I knew I would catch some hell for this. No offense but if you don't know what your talking about then don't make assumptions. Most releases are released at least several days before they are listed on isonews and vcdquality is even slower to post their releases. Trust me I know what I'm talking about ok. I don't want to get into details, and I actually don't even mess with the stuff anymore cause I got tired of it, but I've been involved in every chain of the distribution link and I can assure you that very few movies ever get served on a single fserv in irc on the day the release is actually put out. To be totally honest irc is the minor leagues.

I'm not saying there is anything wrong with irc, I love it. I was just correcting err Shizzzon's mistake.

  19. A new Star Wars episode 2 version is being put out online today and will NOT be released to vcdq.

It was made at LucasFilms from a betamax recorder.

According to the ripper me was talking to, it is either 5 or 6 cds worth but he is in the process if fixing that.

Resolution is suppose to be big, me dont know if as big or bigger than svcd yet and audio is digital.

Me is not aloud to say where this is gonna be in the next few hours but me can guarantee you that it is not one of the 4 releases already out on vcdq.

    This is Betamax.

  20. ok mez got the official information now.

It is a total of 9 cds, formatted for dvd-r.

5.1 dolby digital quality and dvd likish video.

It will be released on thurs 12:01 am.

Whereabouts are not to be talked about

Also, the Hulk-TS.FTF is out too but am not allowed to say where.

  21. 9cds? now what the hell kind of format requires 9cds for a vcd or even a svcd rip??? Just doesnt sound right

Hmm... The Hulk hey, wow that's strange seeing the thing is still in the early stages of filming, DUMBSHIT!

Why dont you **** off and tell some other people your bullshit. No one is ******* believing you about your shitty Star Wars with "DVD likish" quality.

  25. the math is sound, 9cd-r's x 700mb = 6.3gb.. which would be dvd likish quality, if you put it on the discs correctly

  27. i was just assuming he'd ripped george lucas' private star wars episode 2 dvd.. i'd imagine lucas would have dual layer dvd's for himself.. and all the directors commentary he wants.. hm.. i bet he's waiting for his fmd burner to come in..

  28. All this for a movie that falls way below expectation...even though the expectations were ridiculously high, but damn.

  29. weel ali g sorry forbreaking this to you but that a copy was stooen from lucas studio isn't exacly a secret considering it was on the news a a few weeks ago... as for the 9cd format that i must admit is news but it's rather ridiculus as you'd need something like a t3 line to make it worth your time to download and better pray the guy serving is also a t3... doesn,t make muck sense... already a 3cd release is big and considering most ppl pay for their bandwidth after 5-10 gigs they'd basically be using all their mnthly band width for one movie.. thx anyways i'll stick with the SEVcD release quality is good enough...

  30. Lol there wont be a 9cd release and Hulk wont be out til summer 2003.
Someone played him for a sucker and he bit, then once again came here and made a fool of himself.
