Hi I have downloaded a bunch of episodes, and wondered with Windows Media Player 7.1 what codec is required to view avi's? Not one avi I have downloaded I can view, and a friend sent me the right link before but I lost the url when I upgraded the computer so I know there is one somewhere just being a newbie to this I just couldn't remember the name of the site or codec required.
Any help very appreciated.

Chances are you need the divx codec. To solve most (all?) of your codec problems download and install the Nimo codec pack, available from the tools section of this site.
