  1. Hi
I would like to download some videos on NPO start. I am on Macos Sequoia and have a NPO plus account.

I would like to download this one and the others in that series: https://npo.nl/start/serie/eva/seizoen-1/eva_133/afspelen

Can you please tell me what info and tool I need to get this downloaded? I read around these pages that I need a key but I am not sure how to get it and how to use that key in which tool to download it eventually.

    Can you please help?
    Thanks

Hi thanks for the reply. As I tried to understand from different threads, I need to use N_m3u8DL-RE and for that I need the mpd link and the decryption key to download the video. I have the mpd link, I am trying to get the decryption key. I just tried the first link (WidevineProxy2) to install the extension to get the info like PSSH needed to get the decryption key. It seems there are already ready-to-use 30 Widevine devices. I downloaded one of them, the first one. It was a zip file I extracted it and it is now a folder. But when I go the extension on my Brave browser, I try to select the Widevine device from that folder I downloaded but it can't select anything. I am not sure if this works in Macos but I think it should.

Kindly asking for further instructions on how to proceed.

    Thanks

  4. Code:
    pip install pywidevine
pywidevine create-device -t ANDROID -l 3 -k "key path on your pc" -c "client path on your pc"
then you got a .wvd file, import it in widevine proxy2

WHat is the key path and client path? How do I find them? Btw, if possible, I want to use a ready-to-use device, one of the files from this link. (https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/413719-Ready-to-use-CDMs-available-here%21)

yes thanks I got the key now. I tried to put the code of N_m3u8DL-RE into the terminal (as in this format:N_m3u8DL-RE "https://npo-nl-ams-p16-am3.cdn.streamgate.nl/TOKEN/vod/npo/usp/TEST/npo/dash_cenc/AT_300017348/AT_300017348_v1720387759.ism/stream.mpd" --save-name "Festival der Liebe" -sv best -sa all -ss all -mt -M mkv --key 162c6f4514a2a92a88f01363c8466c06:34191ca89bf2a8317 518ac5277c29b3e)

But when I downloaded the zip of N_m3u8DL-RE from github for Macos Arm64 (I am using m2), I unzip and it gives me a exe file which Macos does not recognize. I could not get N_m3u8DL-RE to start working.
