  1. I want to play dash stream in old MPlayer version, without yt-dlp support. I use the "-audiofile" option for playing separate audio stream, e.g. "mplayer videostream_url -audiofile audiostream_url". But this doesn't work for MPlayer GUIs, so need to play from one file, maybe m3u8 or something else. Does m3u8 support playback video and separated audio stream? I tried to use this examples, but without results.

    Which version of mplayer? OS? Example of a/v urls?

    This works for me on windows 7:

    MPlayer2025\mplayer.exe "video.mp4" -audiofile "audio.m4a"
    
    MPlayer2019\mplayer.exe "video.mp4" -audiofile "audio.m4a"
