  1. I have the Apex 5131 model, which according to this site can play miniDVD. It has a strike through it, however, which means that it can only play on certain cdr's. Does anyone know what type of cdr or cdrw I need, or even a general idea of which color back, company, etc. works best?

  3. I have an Apex (Hiteker) AD1000 & 5131 but cannot play miniDVD's created with Ulead DVD factory. Both players go to folder mode and can only play the 2nd video_TS file. I had seen other posts/comments with the same result. I don't know how thwy can be listed as playing miniDVD's?? Any responses out there?? how and using what program etc?

  5. I just picked up the 5131 (on a bit of a spur) but had run the compatibility list for mini-DVD. I also have the folder mode problem... no solution yet, just wanted to add my voice... (using ULead and Memorex CDR).

I'd prefer to write miniDVD but am not sure if I should move to the highest data rate mpg the box will support and live with that, or take the machine back and hold out for a Ulead miniDVD compatible player...
