Dansai 1010 Video Link Problems

Hi I have just bought a Dansai 1010 DVD Player and connected it through my stereo VCR with a SCART (as its already linked to my hi-fi), but the picture is distorted. It can only play normally when connected directly to the TV with the SCART. I was told on a website that this player was Macrovision free. However could this be the reason why the pictute is rolling and losing colour?

roflol yeah u didn't turn off the macrovision yet.. or u have it set to eathere RGB or the othere one.. any how.. do the hack make sure ur marcovission is off and if that's not it then try the othere thing.. turn off RGB.. might be some of ur hardware don't suport it or something..

As far as I can tell from other posts on various forums, the macrovision cannot be disabled on the Dansai 1010. I had both the 852 and the 1010, the multi-region hack worked on both however.

The permanent macrovision is the only difference I could see between both players.
