I have a ATI AIW Radeon Card... and I have bumped into some weired stuff while capturing with the composit input. After about a minute a few frames starts to loop when I playback the file, but the audio keeps rolling... same thing on all formats or sizes, then I read on ATIs support FAQ that if I try to capture a copy protected souce, like DVD or a copyprotected VHS it does exactly that... but... I'm trying to capture a some footage I shot myself, on the ATI site they just tell me to change the resolution... it did'nt fix tyhe problem and even if it did.. why should I have to compromize?? so... I want to know if anyone knows how to bypass this.
I have tried capturing from 2 different VCR player... same result. I have tried capturing with Virtual Dub and ATI TV tool, same result... with all sorts of codecs. If I capture from the TV tuner.. I have NO problem at all...
I run Win2K, MCC 7.6... I have written to ATI but they are have not answered!
please help!
