VCD

  1. i have several music video, and i would like to burn it as VCD. I'm currently using NERO 5 to make the VCD. The problem is that, when i drag a MPG file to the CD, it has an error for
"invalid, need MPEG-1which was encoded for VCD: audio-44.1 kHz; stereo; 224Bit/s
    video: 325x240/29.97Hz"
"error: stream encode which is invzalid for a Super VCD"
"error 2: invalid video stream: 29.97 frames/secpnd, 320x240" the video is not suitable for such disc.
    what sup with all that?

  2. VCD format NTSC is 352 X 240 not 320 X 240 So that's one problem. SVCD is 480 x 480, so the files you are trying to burn are not compliant which is why Nero is giving you this message.

  3. What is the format of the file you are trying to create the VCD with. You may find that if you ignore the warning message in nero your player will still play it as an XVCD, if your player is compatible with XVCD that it. Otherwise reencode using TMPGEnc to a VCD compliant mpeg.
