dvd menu options

Hello everyone i am new here and excuse me when i put my question in the wrong "room"
i have downloaded a serie of dvds on my pc, they are working fine,only dvd 2 from the serie dont let me see the (options) menu, i have tryed to rip them to convert them tryed pgcedit end ifoedit but it still not work when i play it in a player, when i use pgcedit and previeuw it then i see the menu.,so its not corupt.if i am now desperated because i want to schoose in the menu, the file extension says that it opens whit vcl player but the other files from example the dvd 1 says open whit search a app

VLC-Player is not a great piece of software when it comes to playing DVD structures. It interprets the DVD's commands in it's own way and doesn't stick to the standard. It sort of works most of the time nevertheless, but sometimes not.

Try Media Player Classic instead.
