Which one would be best for extracting the best frames in videos, MoviePrint, FFmpeg, or something else? What would be the best settings for each?

If you want to try Simple Video Editor it uses FFMpeg, the program is easy to use and can add an video using drag and drop and it will display a few of the video frames and it is allso real easy to pick an new frame from the video using the mouse to hoover over the video duration slider to then extract and save an video frame into jpg/bmp or png!
Edit: If you're looking for an program to take the decision for you with some sort of built in function it does not look like Simple Video Editor can help much with that, alltough it is possible to customize the command line allso! If youre looking to decide for your own which frames to extract it is an real nice one, especially with the quick preview of each frame when hoovering the mouse over the slider, it get real easy to find an frame to use!Last edited by Swedaniel; 13th Jan 2024 at 18:07.
