  1. I've got a bunch of episodes of an 80s TV series made on videotape and that isn't available on DVD, but has been uploaded to YouTube without proper conversion from 50i. It's all been deinterlaced to 25p and so the original "live video" look has been lost.

    Clearly there are options available for using AI to process historical film footage to invent and interpolate the additional frames needed to turn it into 60fps and give it a "live" feel, so hypothetically I should be able to use the same tech to process my 25p TV series up to 50fps and give it back at least a semblance of its original look.

    What apps/services should I be looking at? I'll need to be processing 21x25min episodes.

    search the forum for optical/motion flow, interpolate, etc, etc. There are some Avisynth filters and paid products like Twixtor.

    Check Topaz Software and Chronos filter (I think it's called something else in the newer versions).
    But turn off image enhancement
