I've never actually tried it but I have done a little research on it. It sounds tempting but there is simply no way I'm going to pay for a pdf file or something, information should be free.

Anyway, this is far from conclusive but I read some kind of scientific analysis of it and supposedly the entire principle is flawed. You simply cannot blow a picture up like that and maintain any amount of quality. I think that if this were anything other than a scam then everyone would be doing it.

There is a big difference between projecting an lcd screen the size of the psone's and a regular 20-30 something inch tv screen. Hell they even make magnifying screens for tinier lcd screens like gameboys and such yet I've never seen one marketed for standard tv's.

Like I said I've never tried it but I seriously doubt it is anything other than a scam. If anyone has actually gotten it to work on a standard television than I too be very interested in hearing about it.

Yeah its sold on e-bay also. I think there are actually a couple "companies" that sell it. Here is one of them, http://100inchtv.com/

Looking on that site they also sell software to "copy dvds and video games onto cdrs!!!" Since everyone knows that the software to do that is free, I think its safe to say these aren't the most reputable "companies" around.

Yeah and this info is free also
It's should only cost you around 10 bucks and some time. You should be able to find the supplies at an office supply store.
I only found this link 5 months ago
So I've been lazy!- now that you guys brought it up maybe I'll try it!
I've got a 13 inch tv to try it with.
They also have a diffrent set of plans to do it with an lcd screen and should cost around $200 bucks and a lot of time.

    Now who wants the link

  9. ok I think I need to correct all of you
This projector idea actually does work it works on the same princples that a regular old fashioned projection tv works
but dont pay those idiots that sell that "100in big screen projects" on ebay n such

The information is available free at http://www.bstvcentral.b0x.com/
and u can buy the lense for about £2 at ur local library bcos its those thin plastic reading magnifying glass sheets that ur granny reads with ;p

I managed to get quite a good picture on my wall using a cheapy old tv
U have to watch it in a dark room and it isnt like using a £2000 projector
but it is watchable n kinda neat

so cardboard box £2 lense bit of time tis good

  10. That's exactly the same site I was talking about but I didn't think anyone actually wanted it so I didn't post it.
The site has since changed though
