There’s an 80 minute interview in Russian on YT, that YT makes a fair stab at translating to English, in the on-screen text captions. I’d like to transcribe those translated captions, from YT, to a word document. That’s a daunting prospect, combining my lack of typing speed and the 80 minute length. So, I was wondering if there isn’t a simpler/quicker process available for copying that on-screen captioned text?

There are several ways to get the transcription
1 - Using IDM (Internet Download Manager). 30 days free trial. It will download the *.vtt subtitles (can change it to srt using SubtitleEdit)
2 - Scroll down the page. If you see Transcript, click on Show transcript. Toggle to show with or without the timestamps.
3 - Look for 3 horizontal dots on the right side. If you see transcription, click on it to show the transcription (with toggle timestamps on/off)
