Anyone know of any good software to do this? I am hoping yes, otherwise I will have to build a separate Windows partition and run something like BDRB or DVDFab there as I want to get off of Microsoft products for my stuff.
Thank you.

The difficult part will be ripping the BD.
I normally use MakeMKV on Manjaro, which has served me well for the most part.
One thing, I normally do not recommend re-encoding BD50 to BD25 unless the encoder used is of a newer generation.
For instance:
MPEG2 --> AVC, yes
AVC --> AVC, no
AVC --> HEVC, yes
You get the idea.
I also recommend always keeping a dual boot, I have been dual booting Windows with Linux for over 20 years.
The reality is that there are times you may want to use Windows only software, like a Magix product, or a cross platform program that just happens to run better on Windows, like Shotcut.
